Membership at Sequoyah Country Club Since 1913, the rolling hills, lightning fast greens and tight fairways lined with statuesque trees have tested the mettle of the golfing members at Sequoyah Country Club. Enriched with a diverse membership reflective of the cities of Oakland, Alameda, San Leandro, Piedmont, Berkeley and beyond, the 355 golfing members enjoy ease of play with the need for tee times only on rare occasions. They can rise to the challenge of competitive tournaments, enjoy casual play, take a dip in the pool, play tennis or lounge and play cards in the skyroom. With sixty five juniors participating, our youngster program is forming a talented group of stars for the future. Diners feast on the specialties of our new gourmet chef on regular dining evenings as well as lunches and during special dinners and banquets. Sequoyah has earned the title of the best kept secret of the Bay Area. Membership includes social, tennis and special designations as well as Proprietary Golf and Young Executive Golf memberships. Guests at Sequoyah Sequoyah Country Club shares full reciprocity with other clubs around the United States and around the world. Members of other clubs should have their club pro make a call on their behalf to our pro shop at (510)  632-4069. If you are planning a visit to the Bay Area, you could not make a better decision than to set up a round of golf at Sequoyah. Sequoyah members often entertain guests at the club for golf and tennis and for dining. Guest fees are among the lowest of any Bay Area club. Men's and women's Member-Guest tournaments are held every month from May through November with fees further reduced.
