Welcome to Sequoyah Country Club's website. For 90 years Sequoyah Country Club has been the best kept secret in the East Bay. Our website provides Sequoyah members with a state of the art communication medium and gives the world a glimpse of what Sequoyah has to offer to the golf enthusiast. Sequoyah is a narrow tree lined course which, although in the midst of a bustling urban area, allows its members to escape in an atmosphere of forest and greenery. Its fast and undulating greens are renowned. One of Sequoyah's hallmarks has always been the fact that, because of our limited membership, the course offers virtually unlimited availability, without the hassle of tee times or advance reservations. Take the virtual tour of our facilities which you will find on our website. You will enjoy a pictorial tour of the course and see the great views of the Oakland Hills and San Francisco Bay. While the tour will give you an idea of the quality golf experience Sequoyah has to offer, it cannot adequately convey the extraordinary member service and amenities that are provided by our capable and attentive staff. The Club has completed its $3,000,000 renovation project. In addition, we have added a new fleet of electric golf carts and are in the process of golf course improvements which include drainage improvements, addition of a short game practice area and new tees on several holes. Our improvements will continue. Interior renovations to other parts of the Club are in process and planning is ongoing for more updating of other rooms of our club, including a complete remodel of our second floor and Ladies Locker Room. In the last year, we have been fortunate to have had the benefit of many new members. As a result, our membership is young and vibrant and the social events at Sequoyah are varied and always well attended. We are equally fortunate to have Jason Hajek, one of the premier chefs in the Bay Area, to treat us to a wonderful array of culinary delights.
